Es gibt Menschen, die inpirieren mich, ohne dass ich sie je getroffen - oder gar ein Wort mit ihnen gesprochen habe. Irgendwie bin ich heute über die Kunst der wundervollen Jennifer Contini Enderby gestolpert und hängengeblieben.
Die in Ohio geborene Künstlerin verliebte sich in die Stadt New York und lebt und arbeitet da seit vielen Jahren. Neben ihrer zeitgenössischen Kunst, inspieriert von dem urbanen Umfeld und ihrem starken Glauben, ist Jennifer vierfache Mutter von drei Jungs und einem Mädchen und engagiert sich stark für die Armut in ihrer Stadt:
“Raising money for charity through HeartART is my passion. Three years in a row now I have worked with many non-profit organizations curating art shows to fight cancer and homelessness. Now I want to expand the HeartART to all New Yorkers living and working in Downtown NYC—a rebuilding and rebirth of our Lower Manhattan through the arts.”
Aus diesem Grund hat sie ein überdimensionales Herz gebaut, welches sie von zwölf weiteren Menschengruppen aus Manhatten vervollständigen lassen will. Dieses Projekt steht im Rennen für einen Platz einer anerkannten Künstlerplattform in Manhattan (wo ihr übrigens auch für sie voten könnt!).
Wie gesagt, ich kenne Jennifer nicht, doch ihr Lachen, ihre Kunst, ihre Bilder haben mich gefesselt.

There are people who inspire me – even I haven’t ever met or spoken to them. Somehow I just crossed the art of the wonderful Jennifer Contini Enderby.
The artist was born in Ohio but fell in love with the city of New York where she now lives and works. Besides her contemporary art which is inspired by her city and her strong faith Jennifer is a mother of three boys and a girl and very committed in non profit organisations to combat poverty in her city:

That’s why she built an oversized heart on which twelve other groups of people in Manhattan will be creative to full fill the piece or art. This project is nominated on a great platform for artist (where you can vote for Jennifer!)
As I said, I don’t know Jennifer but her laugh her art and her pictures just captivated me.
